America's Heroes

FDNY Rescue 1,

FDNY Engine 279, Ladder 131

Adopt-A-Station reached a major milestone on September 9, 2006. Every Firehouse and Police Precinct in New York has been presented a framed memorial print of America's Heroes.

However, there is much work yet to be done. The firefighters and police who responded to the Pentagon have yet to receive their memorial print. Please help Adopt-A-Station by adopting a station that answered the call when America needed them.

Say thank you to the
Finest and Bravest of New York and Northern Virginia.

Tell the Police and Firefighters that we will never forget.
Give a lasting gift that will keep their memory alive.

On September 11, 2001, we witnessed the worst and the best of humanity. As tragic as that day was, it brought all American’s closer together. It awakened our spirit and renewed our American values. Never again will we take the Police and Firefighters for granted. We learned just how dangerous their jobs are and we must not forget their sacrifices. Although we can never truly express our appreciation to those who put their lives on the line everyday to protect us, here is a small way we can thank those who gave their lives while trying to save others on September 11th.

What is Adopt-A-Station?
This is a program by which you can thank the Police and Firefighters of New York and Northern Virginia with a gift of a framed limited edition print entitled ‘America’s Heroes’ by Henry Kidd.

How does it work and what does it cost?
For $200.00 individuals, organizations, or businesses can give one framed print to either a Fire or Police Station. For $300.00 you can adopt two stations. Henry Kidd will personally present your framed print, along with a letter stating whom the gift is from, to the station(s) you adopt. The money covers the cost of framing and delivering the print to each station. The print is donated by Henry Kidd. Adopt-A-Station is a Non-Profit 501c3 Organization.  All donations are tax deductible.

What do I receive?
Besides the satisfaction of giving, you will receive a lasting keepsake. A framable certificate signed by the commanding officer of the Police or Fire Station who received your gift. Henry Kidd created exclusive artwork for this certificate. Mr. Kidd will also sign the certificate. Donors will also receive a photo of the Police or Firemen with the print.

Goal;
To present one framed limited edition print of ‘America’s Heroes’ to every Fire and Police Station in New York, Pennsylvania, and Northern Virginia that responded to the 9-11 tragety.
